The Race
This 5k obstacle course, designed by canine agility and fitness professionals, is created to challenge both dog and owner teams. The UltiMutt Race offers competitive and fun run categories to suit all fitness levels. Whether you're running for fun or competing for the UltiMutt Champion title, you and your dog will be challenged by a series of obstacles that will test your strength, agility, and teamwork.
The Finisher's Festival
But it's not just about the race. The Noble Dog Finisher's Festival is a hub of all race operations and a celebration of everything dog-related. The festival features Noble Nessie's Biergarten, food trucks, music, and a vendor village with local pet good vendors throughout. With rolling hills, sparkling ponds, and rippling brooks, the festival takes place in the beautiful Homestead at Hartness, making for an absolutely gorgeous backdrop.
The UltiMutt Champion Title
The winning dog and human team will receive the coveted title of UltiMutt Champion, an exclusive UltiMutt Champion t-shirt, and other awesome prizes donated by the sponsors. But even if you don't win, every participant who completes the race will earn the right to call themselves a true UltiMutt and receive a finisher’s t-shirt and dog bandana.
Safety Guidelines
Safety is always a top priority, and the UltiMutt Race is no exception. Dogs must be leashed at all times, at least 1 year old, up to date on all vaccinations and veterinary check-ups, and free from any health-related issues such as complications of old age, joint pain, or injury. Vet records will not be required at the registration table, but having a photo of them on your phone handy in case there arises any issue is recommended. And if your dog has never been around unfamiliar dogs, it's best not to risk making him uncomfortable or causing an issue for other racers.
